OD on arnica

just wondering if dogs can overdose on arnica my cocker has managed to get hold of a tub of arnica pills and has chewed up the tub and eaten what was left, not sure how many were in there don't think there would have been that much left as its an older tub

If it is homeopathic arnica, then no, it is not possible to overdose as it doesn't actually contain any active ingredient. Hence why homeopathy is 'safe'. I very much doubt the amount of lactose (the only actual ingredient) would do any harm

its just the stuff you get in the chemist i thought it would be ok he didn't eat the whole packet as i had had some plus my horse has been getting some too and i keep finding them on the floor now!
he is a right muppet i normally keep him in a cage when i'm away but we have workmen in just now and he was getting a bit stresses with the hammering etc so left him out of it so he could see what was going on
will keep a close eye on him, waiting for a vet to call about my horses anyway so will ask him about it - thankfully he is a homeopathic vet
