Odd qu - Is anyone else's horse...

really hungry at the moment? My TBx is going out at grass all day now so she has grass and haylage during the day, haylage at night and two feeds a day but she is really hungry. I've upped her haylage coz I don't really want to give her more hard feed. Ponio is just the same... They don't have worms and I haven't changed their work load at all

Anyone else's like this or are my two just wierd (this is a distinct possibility

)...

Yes my horse is hungry, Im feeding as much haylage as through winter but our grass just doesnt seem to be coming through yet.

My tb is I have upped his feed acts like hes been starved when I give him his feeds,squeals and stamps his feet.Maybe its because they are out more this time of year

Well, mine's always a bit of a piggy so it's hard to tell.

I am currently craving Aero mint though, does that count?

Well No!. JB is eating hard feed which we've reduced as in another field with plenty of grass and he's only eating about half the haylage he normally eats at night in stable. Seems more bothered about getting back out to the grass.

Yep mines same as flowerlady, they just want to be out; in fact my tb is leaving his chaff which he normally woofs down!

Yes my tb x id seems constantly starving. She's getting through mountains of hay and still never seems satisfied.

Who'd have thought there would still be no grass mid April.

This is the same as my mare but I suppose she has just been moved to a new field that has been rested for 6months with pleanty of lush green grass so she is a happy pony

Although before she moved fields she was starving when she came in, and had a 21pound net a night that she ate all of! Shes only a diddy TB too!

Up until last week - yes.

But they have just moved fields - so plenty of grass on offer now.
