Blimey, I didn't realise this would get so many replies!
I think he's very cute and I'm sure it's a particularly bad shot (or two), especially with his bottom parked on a slope! I just have never seen such a chunky neck on a pony which appears not to be that chunky elsewhere, though I guess I haven't seen that many Welshie stallions.
Plus I guess the angle is making his back/bottom look out of proportion.
