Does anyone use these type of stirrup leathers? do they stretch and are they as safe?

Thanks guys

They are brilliant, I had them with my old saddle but sold them with it, keep meaning to get a new pair.

They didn't stretch at all, and slip off the stirrup bar quite easily so would assume they are just as safe.

I have those they are ace.... so comfy under your thigh!. they have a nylon core so don't stretch. they slip off your stirrup bar just as easily as regular leathers. Only comment is that if you don't have a bates saddle the brown ones are quite light brown. but you don't see it when your on anyway, they have darkened now tho.

Love them! So easy to change - wouldn't go back to normal leathers now. There's a couple of different 'qualities' going - from the cheap entirely synthetic with no backing (can see the holes all the way through) to full leather ones with backing.

As others said, they don't stretch, and I've never had them come undone - they come with a little sleeve that fits snuggly over the T-bar, making it difficult for them to come out.

If you go for a pair, the sizing is different. 24" is short (i.e kiddies and short ass adults

), 28" is average length and 32" is long. Very long!

Bates webbers = AMAZING. Wouldn't do dressage in anything else

However just to note that they aren't suitable for jumping apparently - though I have jumped up to 2'6 using mine (on my dressage saddle! xD) and they have been fine
