It was super windy when warming up for the dressage and quite busy so just kept it short and sweet. During the test Jack was very erm..... laidback
and we forgot how to bend
but got our best result ever 29.5!!!

Unfortunately got 4 faults in the SJ, my fault as we came in too close to the first part of the double but was really pleased because there were a lot of solid fillers and bright poles.
Cross country was a bit disappointing. We got 20 penalties at the penultimate fence but we had galloped down a hill just before and I lost control
Disappointed with myself, not Jack, because I knew as I was coming down the hill we were going way too fast to approach a jump... We got 12.8 time penalties which I am really happy with because I thought we would clock up a whole load more because of our stop.
Had a look at results and think I came around 13th which I think was pretty good considering my friend came 11th and finished on just her dressage score and 12 XC time pens.
We're at Nutwell again this week doing a hunter trial and am going to put Jack in the pelham so we have a bit more control (hopefully!) and can tackle the fence in a sensible manner.
