hi im looking for a moody mare supplement and am considering oestress just wondered in anyone has any advice as to whether liquid or powder if one is more faster acting than the other and if it has actuall turned anyones moody mare into an angel?! thanks in advance ; )

My mare is on oestress and she cannot be with out it. Shes not an angel but she was 100% unrideable when in season before. Totally dangerous now just slightly off when in season! Total life saver.

She is on the powder as there wasnt liquid when we started. Liquid is generally faster acting but probably more expensive in the long run? Have to say alot of horses dont like the taste of the powder. Mine didnt and every time ive had to re start due to different reasons weve had this issue for a few weeks before we agree with it. Ive had to use apple juice in her feed to convince her and eventually she eats it normally after a few weeks.. Stop, and she starts it again. If this is the case, liquid would probably be easier if someone took a massive disliking to it.

thanks lets hope my mare becomes manageable on it. She was going a dream but has turned into a total nightmare teeth tack and back checked etc she had ulcers in october theyve now healed then she had her poll out so she had quite a bit of time off and has developed a bad attitude to work.

I have just started my girl on the powder this weekend as she is becoming a monster to ride!
I used it last year when she got to this stage and it did work wonders!!!
I have always used the powder!
