Off road hacks in Lancashire

I was wondering whether anyone knew of any that Grace and I could go on...

I have looked into Hesketh House which I am hoping to do soon, but other than that I do not know of any others. It needs to be pretty straight forwards as I will be going on my own and don't do maps etc... The people who would like to come don't have any transport.

Rivington is on my doorstep (Grace is stabled there) but it means going on the roads before we get to it... I could always box her up and drive 5 mins down the road I suppose. Would that make me look crazy?

Right, my aim for this week is to box Grace up and go to Rivington with her. Lisa, will let you know when I am going to give it a go at the weekend, but I'm afraid we'll have to avoid roads

It's about 15 mins to the off road bit with a motorway bridge to go over and motorbikes whizzing around the roads too...

Yes, I know that piece of road well!! If she's not so good on the road, I would definitely box up and take her. Let me know when you go, I 'll try and meet up with you. Have been to those gallops at Hesketh Hall, quite good too. Somerford was really good yesterday, despite the howling wind and rain!
