Off set stirrups

Hi all,
So I've been given a pair of off stubben stirrup and want to try them out... But which way round are they meant to hang?!?
 
Are they the Bow Balance? They should be marked as left and right, and I have mine hung so that when I'm in the saddle and look down at the treads when the stirrups are rotated to the correct position for my feet, the "Sprenger" is facing the right way. Hope that makes sense.
 
Some people actually use them backwards... Depends what you want to achieve! I think the "normal" configuration is intended for jumping and places the foot on the inside.
