Off to Burghley!

My boyfriend is totally not horsey, and I don't have any proper horsey mates down here so my sister, bless her, has said she'll come to Burghley with me this year. I've booked a hotel for the Friday night and we're going for x country day. She was a little bit horsey when she was much younger, but totally not now. Should be fun, I'm so excited!

Can't wait as never been before. Got to book a hotel somewhere on route, a travellodge or similar an hour away should do the trick as don't fancy the 4 hour drive both before and after!!

I've only been once before, am a Badminton lover really but didn't get to go this year. I'm hoping it will be good and the weather ok. Yey for non-horsey people I say!

Everywhere close is pretty much booked up, but you should find something closeish.

don't want to be 'too' close as know they will charge a premium but would have thought there should be something about an hour away....

only in hospitality as won the design a fence comp, wouldn't normally go never mind pay for hospitality (nearly fainted when saw how much they cost!!) as live so far away.

I'm going too thanks to the HHO blog competition. We have a members ticket which lets 2 of us in (plus extras) on all 4 days and have booked in at a B&B about 5 miles away. Have bought extra tickets so 3 of us are going - Rosie and her Mum (my daughter) as well as me. None of us has ever been before so we're very excited.
