Managed to land right on my butt today
Not sure quite what got into Bert but can only assume a combination of doing nothing for a week due to the weather and ground/school being frozen and being kept in yesterday but he ran around like his A*s was on fire!
Took him into the school and instead of ebing tthe slow |"keep your leg on" type he normally is he was raring to go. Didin't want to walk wanted to trot, didn't want to trot wanted to canter, the cantering was anything but collected more like wellying aroung! Lots of transistions etc but stil everything at full steam ahead. Popped a crosspole and ended up on my arse as he galloped at it and jumped it like it was 3 ft!
Aywhoo got back on, (quite an elegant fall for me
) and made him work until there was definately no fizz left in him. am now am off to soak my bum in a nice hot bath,
