A little scared, a lot scared actually as my boy is going to the vet school tomorrow for x-rays, bloods and nerve blocks :(

I know he's going to the best place but am just scared of the outcome

Keep your fingers crossed for him

Do you know which vet is looking at him?

Hey HOLLYHOCKS a vet called Anika called me to discuss some stuff, but i don't know who is actually looking at him...

Im so deflated right now..my hubby and I went up tonight to do the usual groom, hoof pick, play and I gave him a kiss a cuddle whilst whispering some little things. Hubby said 'good luck tomorrow big guy'.

Fingers crossed : )

Elizabeth he will be fine. I've had mine in both Edinburgh and Glasgow and although Edinburgh looks like a more advanced and bigger hospital I much preferred Glasgow and the staff there. They really looked after my girl and were so kind. Padraig was the vet who dealt with my girl and he was great. I found him to be really positive even though my horse was more or less a PTS/companion case diagnosis.

Thanks again HOLLYHOCKS. I know we discussed this time ago,and Glasgow Vet is great....just the fact of him having to go...just tired and stressed with it. Thanks again for taking the time.

All the best for tommorrow thinking of you it's very hard I was a nervous wreck when one of mine went in investigations and I am a vet nurse but still didn't make it any easier !! What is wrong with urs x

HOLLYHOCKS! it was Padraig and I told him you sang his praises!

He asked your name and I told him HOLLYHOCKS is what i call her lol.

He was great. His team were great. We are just home. Big horse was an absolute super star. Loaded straight away, and stayed calm all day, whilst they stuck him with needles, xrayed him, took bloods, and some sort of electronic/sonic wave treatment?
He loaded straight away to go home and whinnied when he arrived home too. : )

He was a very good boy indeed. He is on 2 weeks box/field rest with anti inflams and pain killers, then back to vet school in a fortnight for more sonic wave treatment.

Fingers crossed : )

Thanks
