off to the vets

My beloved rottie has got up this morning with a severe case of wobbly back legs.She is walking a bit crab like and is a bit subdued. So off to the vets we go.

Hopefully I am just overeacting to a bit of stiffness caused by old age.

Hope she is ok...from your brief description to me it sounds like a bad tummy ache if she's walking crab like, rather than a leg problem. Has she been sick at all? Could she have eaten somthing she shouldn't have and have a blockage?

Fingers,hooves and paws crossed for her - hope it is nothing serious but just age related stiffness.

Back from the vets.Did a blood test and found she has a high liver count just a few short of 900.Possibility a problem with her liver is causing a neurological problem which in turn causes the wobbling. She has to have more tests tomorrow.She doesn't appear to be in any pain and the mobility is better than it was but still a bit unsteady.She still tried to take on the german shep in the waiting room though - some things don't change
