Personally I don't see whats wrong with advertising, this is the only forum I know that doesn't allow it but whats the big deal?
I'm sure Just Horse Gifts has paid a lot of money to advertise in Horse & Hound and is probably generating sales of the magazine in the process.

That's just the point though, why would they let you come on here and do it for free when everyone else has to pay. H&H do need to make money, they can't just give things away.

Like I said Horse Gifts have probably PAID a lot of money for a full page advert in H&H and are mentioning their PAID for advert on H&H forum to generate interest and in the process selling copies of H&H.
I am sure H&H are not loosing any money and they are certainly not giving anything away.
