Offers when buying a horse

It all depends on the horse & what your prepared to pay for it, you may look at it & think it's worth every penny & only offer a little less then the asking price. I have put in cheeky offers in before & I am sure many people have. If you went along & liked the horse, but was only prepared to pay £3,500 for it & put an offer in whats the worst they going to say no. You don't ask you don't get as they say :p

3k on a 4k horse? I'd laugh at you, and sell it to the next person waiting.
I am the queen of cheeky offers, I do it for a living. Though i can give a cheeky offer quite blatently, I won't consider one given to me! Cheeky sod.... oh, so am i. Start at 3500. If i put 'ono' on a horse i'll price it with a 250 or a 750 so it's clear it can be rounded down by 250. You might get it for 3500, but maybe more like 3750. Either way, good luck!

If they are selling a horse for 4k how do they get to that figure? Always offer low and you can move up but set yourself a limit. Its like buying houses.
