Officially fed up now!!

Of this flippin'weather. Today all the taps on the yard are frozen. They did thaw yesterday for a while but today all I have is a dribble!
I can't ride because the school is frozen and the off road tracks are frozen ruts. Some people are hacking out but I won't risk it.

Same here 15 horses in .i hav to feed them all with buckets.cant bring any horse outside cause yard is froze i know how u feel!!!

And winter has only just begun! I have just got the all clear to start working my mare after her kissing spine operation but I can't do anything because the school is frozen! However, I still turn her out every day.

We could have months of this so either quit your moanings and get used to it or get rid of your horses lol

I'm rehabilitating from KS, still havent had stitches out, this weather is playing havoc with the grazing in hand and walking and it makes them so sharp too doesnt it, I am practically hang gliding on the end of the leadrope whilst he leaps and bucks, guess he must be feeling better!!!

Hate to break it to you OP but looks like we are in for the long haul again this winter. Think of the upsides - like no mud!

I agree. don't get to yard without help from lovely rudey who has a 4x4, taps frozen, have to take boy over a road to get to field and he;s like bambi on ice getting there and i keep sliding and trying to hang onto him without falling over! determined to turn out so he can have a leg stretch but hate it cuz worried he'll go flying can;t ride due to frozen school and the fields we use for hacking are frozen underneath the snow so terrified we'll go flying aas he's feeling pretty fresh! moan moan foot stamp grump grrr
