don't know about you lot, but we've had wasps nests galore this year....blown 'em up, burnt them....damn things..
Anyhoo, was changing batteries on the fencing last evening, and almost trod on what looks like an old mole hole with the stripey-arsed b*tches coming out!!!
Soooooo I fetched a spare plastic fencing post to put near it to warn the liveries until OH can blow it up tonight....
What does he do? Sticks it IN THE HOLE and the buzzers coming squiddling out, making us run like fun!
Tia, minding her own business in the middle of the paddock (nest just outside) suddenly leaps into the air, biting at her side then gallops about bucking! she then rolls lots, and stands, snorting in annoyance. I'm guessing the poor thing got stung! checked her over and gave her lots of love, cuddles and treats...
None the worse for wear this morning and the nest is DOOMED......
