Now this advert says an experienced rider is required.

Looking at the pictures, something tells me the current owners aren't experienced.

Can you spot it???

Poor neddy! Looks completely hacked off with the whole situation, as does child in the 2nd pic!

I hope he finds a nice new home.

(if my stables weren't so full I would have him!!)

It amazes me that people think putting crap pictures of their horse will enhance it's selling prospects!

I'd much prefer that to the horse i wnet to view this weekend.
owner of ginger one is looking for new horse. 1 hour drive in driving rain to go see it.
Asked to see it trotted up.........not sound. Owners knew it to as they didn't try to give any reason for it or argue the case.
Total time at yard = 10 minutes

Oh dear."Needs an experieced rider as we are all petrified of the damn thing"

Even if you knew nothing about tack fitting, and had no idea how a flash should sit on the head, why would you think that that picture with the reins all twisted was a good one?

why do the owners even think such a picture would help him sell? Although perhaps on this occassion he'll get the sympathy vote and be whisked away to a home that knows what its doing! I know I'd definately take a look if I were in the market for another horsey

At least they realise they are not experienced enough and are trying to give the horse a good home. More than can be said about some people.

Perhaps they just moved the flash up to noseband while taking a photo? Pony looks happy enough, kid looks bored. Can't see a problem with it other than not being a terribly good advert, but not everyone is a professional rider or photographer.

Red Devil, off topic, but I am trying to get that info for you - just haven't got hold of the lady I need to talk to yet.

Should have it for you by the end of the day at the latest, hopefully!

I have to say these posts are just getting a bit boring, if that was your horse for sale you would be pretty annoyed not everyone really has an idea how to advertise their horse. Also everyone makes mistakes, for example this picture of pickle initially I didn't even notice the mistake! Also read the forum rules this post if defamatory

LMFAO - no, that's how I look in real life. You're just trying to be kind.

I dunno tbh - Photo was normal, but when I put it on here, I went all wide and fat, and can't seem to be able to adjust it.

First thought is, who sold them the horse in the first place? I feel there are just too many horses sold to people who have neither the knowledge or experience to own and handle them.

Second thought, is for the poor horse, the look on its face just says 'help, get me out of here'.

I'm sure the owners are doing their best, as he does look pretty healthy, but it just looks to me like someone took the cash and left the new owners to it.

I think that horse looks lovely and sweet, I would bite off my arm for something like that.

And so what if the tack is a bit out of sorts. It wouldnt affect my decision on whether or not to buy the horse!

Bless him, looks like a real sweetie!! Horse doesn't look unhappy or poor in anyway, there are much worse ads on Horsemart than a horse whose flash is a bit wonky.

Nowt wrong with being inexperienced, I can't imagine that all of you who are taking the pi$$ were born BHSI level?? We all started somewhere...
