Oh Dear - Bashed eye!

This morning my Lab got bashed in the eye with a stone! (don't ask!!). He yelped and screamed and made a tremendous fuss - he is a terrible wuss!

But this evening his eye is half closed, please remember though that this dog makes a terrible fuss about the slightest thing!

I have put Fucithalmic on it and he seems okay - I guess he has a terrible headache

Any other suggestions?

ETA: There's not cuts, blood or lacerations. I suspect its just bruised and sore

Get a cold compress on it if he'll let you.

keep an eye on it...excuse the pun

incase there is any internal bleeding, hopefully it's just swelling in the outer tissue, ice as suggested would be good, if it swells any more I would get him to the vets just to be on the sae side.
