Oh dear, day one of towing course!

And I suck!!!! Doesn't help that the guy on the course with me is ace at it lol having already done his lorry lisence. All the instructor did was shout at me! I was almost in tears!

Doesn't help that the indicators and wind screen wipers are on the wrong side so I kept wind screen wiping my way around round abouts! I stalled once whilst he was yelling at me and hit the curb twice. Both times I drove through the city centre blue lights tried to get through making me panic a little as there was no where to move to! Reversing, emergency stops and hitching next, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

Oh dear - sounds like you had a horrid day. Can you not have a word with the instructor tomorrow morning and tell him that being shouted at does not help you concentrate - after all you are paying.

Don't worry too much about it, if it all went perfectly on the first day there would be no point in you doing a course would there. Things will get better, everything will drop into place & you'll get on fine with it in the end....honest!

Don't worry - I took my trailer test last year and your nerves get the better of you at first. Just breath and try to relax, and definately speak to the instructor about the shouting.

I failed my trailer test the first time (mainly because the traffic was heavy in the city and I could not see the road markings as I was not leaving enough space!).

The lady that I learnt with was absolutely brilliant. Very patient and horsey too. Let me know if you want her contact detials.

Ooh, what kind of course are you doing? Ive got to get onto a two day coure with the test aqt the end of the 2nd day. Keep going! It will be worth it when you pass!
