Went to HOYS yesterday and kinda bought a few things from the Derby House, well OH bought them for me.

You know, that stuff that is only exclusive to Derby House, *takes a big gulp*

err well errrrmm, ok I'll just say it, a KP Equestrian, yep I got the stripe hoody (purple/lilac/white) and a navy polo t-shirt.

But there actually quite nice, I've just emailed my friend (one of the other liveries) to have a guess what I bought.

Her reply was, ''something pink or sparkly no doubt!''.....so she was half way there (got a sparkly buttons but neither are pink)

Anyway I emailed her back and told her, also explained that the polo top was a bit too small and got this reply:-

''I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU BOUGHT KP EQUESTRIAN!!!!!! SHOCKED STUNNED AND DISAPPOINTED!!!!! RUN AND HIDE''

So then I replied and said as a joke, so there is no point asking if you want to by the polo top of me so I can re-order one in a bigger size? lol.

and I then I got this:-

''I would sooner walk naked down the middle of (our village) - even compete topless at Sykehouse Arena than wear any of her range!!! PMSL''

So it looks like I'm gonna get some serious stick on the yard, but hey who cares I like em.

i disagree. I like the KP stuff. and im not a gily girly by any form! I actually like KP as well.. even thought shes not giving her self great press.. Shes still a character and a half!

Well OH said the hoody would like really nice with jeans just to wear for casual wear etc and the navy polo shirt I thought would just look smart with some nice denim breaches (which I'm yet to buy) although its not really the weather for t-shirts now but OH liked really like them and said it better than the the usual drab stuff you wear when on the yard and he's sick of seeing me in Joules stuff all the time.

I REALLY like a pair of her jods but won't buy them, I REFUSE to be seen in them! maybe you could cover the logo some way? Be Ashamed!!!!
 
The breaches are actually really nice although not tried a pair on as they didnt have a changing room, they seem nice quality too and are cheaper than other makes of the same quality, I'm going to order a pair, I really like the white ones too.

Just a wear a long jumper that covers your bottom lol....mind you I do anyway

didnt anyone see how long the line was for her autograph!!!! lol one of the guys that was manning the que said r u wanting to line up for katie price? i was like noooooooooooo way then he showed me the que and it was going out side the of the shopping centre and apparently was goin for a mile or so!!!!

I can't stand most of the stuff, but I know which stripey top you mean and also thought it was quite nice. The price tags are a bit much for what they are, though and just having KP Equestrian on would put me off buying!!
 
ha ha, this is a brill post! i agree that it's about time someone else brought some nice riding gear to the market other than Joules (unless you go mega expensive!), and also agree that some of KP's stuff is nice...... but havent dared buy any yet for fear of getting some serious stick!!!

A lot of people are very anti KP, which for me would be reason enough to wear it!
Only problem is I'm tight & it's too expensive for a peasant like me.

lol yes well I did feel a tad embarrassed

rummaging through the rails looking for my sizes, I had a quick shady look around and I dived in, stuck my head between the rails so nobody could see me (I can't see you so you can't see me kinda thing) and proceeded to dig out something that wasn't pink, wasn't velour and looked like it would fit me, popped up for air and peeped out to see if the coast was clear, OH gave me the nod and I ran like hell to the till, stood there whistling and casually made out I was entering the competition while she ran the goods through the till and then stuffed some pound notes in her hand said....''keep the change'' and ran!

it was an MI5 mission lol
