My daughter went to 'hound exercise' (as it's now called) this morning and her pony got so over excited that he backed into a ditch, she fell off and he trod on her upper arm. Thankfully it's just bruised and a bit swollen - it's a bit stiff too. She got back on and had to ride for about 5 mins before she found her dad and then had to walk about a mile back to the trailer. He took her to A&E and they were seen within 5 mins (!) and the doc just said, yes, it's bruised and swollen, go home and put some ice on it.

So guess who's on mucking out etc duty for the next few days - you guessed it - me!

Well done to your daughter for getting back on and remind her no hunting up to a week before exams because you can bet it will be her right arm that won't work come monday morning.
