The day the League Against Cruel Sports tries to make hay out of the news of Alice Barnard's impending (friendly) departure from the CA, it sacks its own Head of Comms, Steve Taylor, for allegedly fiddling his expenses!

Is this the same Steve Taylor who claimed: "“The hunters are the only group of criminals in society who flirt with this idea that they are in some way victims of the law, rather than transgressers [sic] of it.”

So it's not JUST that he couldn't spell!

It's surprising they're surprised. YEARS ago - not long before Jim Barrington 'saw the light', he appointed a Finance Director whose primary task was to 'control expensiture'! It was the first time LACS employees had suffered the indignity of having their expenses scrutinised! They made the new FD's life a MISERY - and he didn't stay long once JB left!

I wonder if there'll be any former MPs applying for the job. The bulk of them are certainly qualified!
