Go outside and have a look at how much better he is looking - it will make it all worthwhile!

I recently had over £1000 worth of vet bills and I found bunging it on a credit card and trying to forget about it made me feel much better!

Have a drink or 3... At least you really can say you did everything! Go and tell him you want him to grow up big and strong so he can earn his keep!!

Oh God, a very scary bill! Don't know if a foal his age would be insured ?? When I had a huge bill from my vet for my uninsured dog ( excluded condition) I was totally honest with vet and said I couldn't pay it in one go and they let me pay in installments, makes it slightly more bearable. However, the main thing is William is looking so much better so its gotta be worth it!

Still reeling with shock, I anticipated around £800 to be honest, but the vet hasn't charged me for several visits, or the post mortem either so i can't complain.
The drugs come to well over £400 alone and the damned vat is the biggest killer. I am not insured not vat reg for the stud, so can't claim anything back.
never mind I have someone coming to view lucia tomorrow who is lokking very nice, if she buys her that's only almost £70 to find... gulp... (oh and I sold a sadle on ebay, that's another £250 off..I'm nothing if not a trier when I need money, now how much was that chap offering to be trampled? I could just put a bag over his head couldn't I?)

I've just got a 3grand bill through....my mum nearly passed out - luckily this year is on insurance but next year won't be - however have found a solution but won't say much until i know if it works or not so fingers crossed!

Have a stiff drink or two!

...or three

Can you do as I have done - had a £2,000 vet bill for Cairo's cancer treatment - took out an interest free credit card and then paid on my old card and did a transfer - now can pay it off over a year bit by bit with no interest.

Have done this a couple of times as Cairo gets cancer about every three years.

Sure the little chap is worth it - he looks to be fighting back so well in your last update.

Blimey O'Reilly, William certainly is a 'Big Bill' already eh LOL

That is a huge amount, 2nd the zero% credit card, we have just got one to buy our tv/surround sound stuff with, we have got 12 months to pay it off interest free. Cheaper than anywhere else I think.

How is the little chap today?
