Basically the fields opened yesterday for the horses to go out, so I went up to the yard to put my horse out, only to be told by another livery that most horses was going out at 2 o clock fair enough but yard owner didnt tell anyone this only a select few people.

So we ended up having to wait till gone 2 as the people were like our horses have been out for half an hour so they will have to wait only they was out since half 8 in the morning. Anyway we got ours out finally, and most people were told yesterday that all the horses was going out together tomorrow meaning today.

So come today and I went to field with my friends pony, then a few more go out, I put ben out last with my friends horse that people have gone mad saying is a psycho and kicks ten tons of cr"p out of all the horses only he hasnt and the horse that got battered had back shoes on, this all happened last year.

But this year its basically this said woman does not want my friends horse out this year even though he was out all last year and it didnt kick off with him, the problems were only when this womans horses went in.

And they are crippled, they cant walk one is ready for the knackers yard and the others arent far off, but what annoyed me is the fact this woman is dictating what horses can go out and when which is pretty much peeing me off,

As she wont allow anything other than another cripple out with her horses, when we have another field that they can put theirs in so the rest of the yard can go out as noone else has any probs with the horses that are out, but she wont have it.

Does anyone think this is selfish, I am annoyed as I think horses should be allowed out most of the day not select hours. and I got a roasting today as I put my horse out and I got told to have some common sense by the yard owner I asked why and she said that if my horse kicked one of the ponies they would break their leg.

But any horse could break a leg and my horse does not kick if you knew my horse you would know he is the softest horse ever and he wont even run around the field as hes too lazy.

Sorry for the ramble I was very annoyed and when me and my friend all walked back up to the yard from the field this woman was waiting for us and starting ranting and raving asking why did we put our horses out, well we was told we was allowed.
Oh and I was also told only to put my horse out when something more substantial goes out so I said great that means he cant go out then at all as nothing is the same size as him.

I am frustrated as to why ben is penalized for his size even tho hes the best behaved in the field.

Sounds like you need to be able to separate your fields off into sections or move yards. I've been in the midst of arguments like this and they run and run. People don't change their minds on this sort of thing

I know, the fields cant be split as its in a weird place and couldnt be done, but we have other fields for the others but they wont have it. Which is unfair I think, I mean if my horse was as old as these I wouldnt have my horse out with all the normal horses, or I wouldnt do what they are trying to get done as its simply not fair, the whole fields changing for 2 horses that cant walk anyway?

Maybe I am being unreasonable?

We have four horse at our place, from 10hh to 16.3hh, pony to TB. Our TB had a 'mexican stand off' with our TBxCob and it cost us hundreds in vets fees. To solve this we bought some extra electric fencing and split our land in to paddocks. Pretty much any field can be split, if there's no trough water will have to be supplied, 20-40 litres per horse per day (24hrs) depending on the size of the beastie.

Don't stand for it, there's no excuse for YO's singling out horses. If they don't want your horse there they should give you notice, or else they should try and solve the problem, not pick on you!!!!
