Had the vet back up this am as Tilly was due her annual jabs and MOT and had a lovely newish vet who Ive not used before. Anyway, trouble is fine. However, the vet seemed to think that 16.2hh would be the minimum she'd make and said not to be surprised if she hit 17hh or even a bit more

Nooooooo! I shall have to chop her legs off - she was meant to stop around 16.1hh/16.2hh!!

Ha ha you have the same problem as me, i brought my mare as 16.2hh when i got her home she was clearly bigger than the other 2 and croup high

She evened out at about 17hh and i think she is having another growth spurt although i haven't measured her officially yet

mum and dad are both 16.2hh and she's easily 16hh already!

My baby was meant to make 16hh (he was 15.2 when I got him 18 mths ago). He's now four and has just hit the 16.2 mark and doesn't show any sign of stopping. I've only got short legs!
