I have just read through both of my tests for the Novice and Advanced Medium Regionals..

I am sooo gonna forget something in them!

Lets hope I have a long wait between classes so I can sit in the lorry staring at the second test!

Is anyone else going to Somerford Park for the Regionals!?!?

You'll be fine!

The Advanced Medium is OK, it's fairly symmetrical which makes it a lot easier to remember........think patterns.

I must admit I haven't looked at the Novice yet but the ELEMENTARY?!!!!!! HUH?

Who wrote E58? They must have been in a bad mood! That really is not symetrical and has you stopping and starting all over the place. I wouldn't be suprised at all if I go wrong in that one.....

I'm still trying to learn the elementary for the Area Festivals, I keep looking at it but nothing is sinking in, now the novice is no problem but why can't I get this elem?

Come and say hello...no doubt I'll be helping out!!! I'll definitely be there watching though - what are you riding?

Im doing prelim 17 and nov 22 at kingston maurward regionals. I did them both on friday plus prelim 16 as well and managed to remember all of them so hopefully i will be ok! Sods law i will forget one though

It's just the one chance thing [such pressure]
Would be good to do 2 tests and average it, we probably all will do 2 tests but I suppose if you are doing 2 levels it would be too much.
We have qualified at prelim and novice but doing novice at petplan.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE [unless you are going to the college, where we are going] lol
PS HOW MANY GO THROUGH

It'll be good to meet up again carthorse........different horse for us though this time!

The no. that go through depends on the number of starters......usually 2/3 then there are the wild cards which you have to sweat over. (Ask FREESTYLER about that one!!!) They are given out to the highest placed non qualifiers across all regions once all the Regionals are done.

EEEK!

Regional panic is definitely setting in...

I may have changed my mind about where I am going... might be Kingston Maurward now..

S_V, I am riding MFSS RAUBRITTER in the Novice open, and a new ride ROSSGOD RIVA in the Advanced Medium, I havent even sat onhim yet!! They are both stallions

Bananaman, I am pretty sure that I will end up hoping for a wildcard!! There are so many good horses competing at the moment!!

I hardly even knew about wildcards until i got one in the post back in february for my petplan! I think now i know about them it will make it worse if i come 3rd in the Petplans as then il be waiting around feb time to see if i get a wildcard.......

Well i didnt get mine through until feb, and i did the petplan in september - i think they generally get sent out around feb time as i remember it was really rushed and id missed the close of entry before i got my wildcard so i had to phone and check i could still enter..........*scratches head* hmmmmmmmmm so it mustve been in march that i recived it then, not feb..........

BBMAT wild card are sent out after all the regionals have finished and are given to the highest non qualifiers in the country. For example if you got 69% and missed qualification because the class was full of people getting 75% then your score would be compared with other regionals where the scores may have been lower and had you got your 69% would have been placed. Does that make it as clear as mud????
As for worrying about two tests you'll be fine its much easier than you thinl and the Adv. Med is a lovely test. You could always take one horse to one reg, and the other to another. I do this if i have two horse in one class for different owners so that the atmosphere on the yard stays cool!!!!
