Just been informed today of what I may have been exactly saying in conversation in my surprise trip to A&E during the week... I knew I'd possibly had the odd eyelash flutter and begging for no injection/stitches to the lovely Doctor, though I thought that was it.

But no. Apparently I was extremely unlike me and was coming out with things like when being asked 'Am I hurting you at all?'....with my reply apparantly being 'No it's fine, you have gentle hands!'

*Cringe*

Also along with various other things I don't remember saying, ever!

I blame it on the knock to the head...lol

*Cringe cringe cringe*

Let me just die of embarrassment now.....

Good for a giggle though I suppose lol!

On the plus side, head seems to be healing fine. Just taken the steri strips off all bar one and it's sealed up underneathe and *hopefully* shouldn't leave a huge mark [fingers crossed]. Has anyone had much luck with bio-oil and E45 lotion at all for scarring?

Bio Oil is excellent - I used it following surgery on both legs (riding accident of course!) and the scars have faded really well, it takes the redness right out with repeated use.

Thanks...it's still 'open' atm so bit wary in regards to putting anything on it atm but just thinking of things to use after. I've got aloe-vera/lavender based moisteriser and a few Botanica products related to things for it....but a friend mentioned bio-oil earlier once it's healed over and I'd never heard of it before :)

On the plus side, YES, he was worth it haha!!!

Aloe vera is brilliant for healing wounds...if you have got the actual plant you can split the leaves and use the gel inside...bit messy but brill...just check to see what else is in your moisturiser...the less ingredients the better, if you can get pure aloe or pure lavender that's best...

So, will you be faking further 'incidents' to get yourself back to A&E then....???? :D:D:D

LOL no. Definately no further incidents planned. Not enough to make me like hospitals lol....Weeeelll........Haha!

I could drop a thankyou in I suppose....

Though I don't think I could face anyone again after coming out with crap like that lol!!!

Yeah post a thankyou card and put your phone number 'just in case you want me to find you a nice cob, like you said.' And when he rings, you can claim incident-related amnesia about misremembering him wanting a cob!
:D:D:D

Oooo thanks :)

Hahahahaha Yes!!!! There's an idea. Lol. [I'm hoping I didn't stupidly say anything about HHO forum and that I'd probably be silly and post about it the next day and to check it out....if he was reading this now I would actually die I think!]

When I was a teenager I was frequently in hospital for various lengths of time. I would have crushes on the young doctors who "saved" me :D I had quite a thing about white coats for a while as a result. I had nothing against the nurses, just that they were female, except one and I had a crush on him too. :)

I was far too shy to let them know though. There was one I really liked (I was about 14 :)) and I remember feeling heartbroken when he rushed in late one day and said to the staff, "Sorry, my wife forgot to set the alarm."

Maybe I thought he would marry me one day.:D
