Hypothetically
rolleyes
if you were looking after a collie (who has spent his morning upside down beside me on the sofa) and after he's taken himself off outside, you hear him "chatting" away to something.
Say, you go to investigate his little wuffing noises and see him cradling a toad in his paws...and on closer inspection realise he's licking it for all it's worth
What to do?! I'm sure I've read toads are poisonous, but is licking them the same as eating them?! Toad has been safely taken away from him (cue mourning whimper or two) and the vet's are engaged at the moment.
Any ideas?! Don't think it was one of those "special" toads, he's not hallucienating...yet(!) Obviously this is all hypothetical....
but good to know, y'know, for future reference.... *whistles innocently*
