Oh God I hate Ice!

Anyone else's road resemble a skating rink this morning? I must admit I'm not at all confident in driving in ice (or snow) and I am already dreading reversing off driveway and going to the yard!!!
Plus it will be the first time I've driven this car in conditions like this!!! HELP!!!
 
Not too bad here at all.
Surprising after all the rain we had recently.
They mentioned drizzle for this afternoon! I do hope it doesnt or we could be in for some leathal driving tomorow.

It was icy for me driving to the yard this morning, and the yard itself was like a skating rink. I hate struggling to fill water buckets when the hose is frozen. I hate horses slipping on the yard when you are only trying to lead them back to their stables after mucking out. I hate cold hands and feet. Bring back summer!!!!!

I was surprised how good the roads round our way were, esp as I went the back way to the yard through the villages.
Our yard wasnt bad either, i popped the horses on the walker first too, thankfully we have rubber down now, its great

Well it wasnt too bad when I got on the main road, however going through the village to the yard was a little bit interesting and so was the driveway to the yard, where I managed to slide!!!! But all done now, fed, haynets, will wait for it all to thaw a bit before going back up there..... good luck Weezy, I know exactly how you feel!
 
Yep it is pretty bad in Norfolk & Essex in parts. There was a pile up on the A12 this morning (8 cars) and I also passed a multi car crash on the A140. Just got to remember no drinking during school days!!!!

The yard was really bad this morning, I could not put Ren and his girlfriend out in his normal field as the Mud was so bad out there it was like ice rink! So they are in a little field with Hay.

Roads were really bad too! However we are talking 5.30am this morning!!
It was -4 in my car this morning

Funny the variation in temp from your way to ours...it was -3 when I went to the yard at 10am! Mucked out but didn't dare even take horsey out of box as couldn't find the salt to put down

Its all been frozen here since yesterday. It didn't unfreeze atall yeaterday during the day and its not looking like its going to today. My bus broke down last night and this morning, I don't know but that may well be related.
 
We have only had light frost once night this winter, annoying for you all isn't it?
