She's now mine so tomorrow I'm expecting her to be lame and require a year off

And I found out her mummy is not only grey but is a tbx new forest!!! Would explain a lot. Oh and she offered me her two full siblings (3&4yrs) but I just cant commit to anything like that with uni so I told her that if she hasnt sold them in a year, to let me know! She also has a spotty 1/2 brother from this year who is absolutely gorgeous!

I'm so excited, I now officially own 2 (or 3 if you count the ancient pony)

aww wicked.

If she's got the prefix "Merrie" in her breeding please let me know as my best mate works at Merrie stud

Yay! But how did today go???
I used to have a NF X on loan, little bugger she was, very moody, would kick, bite, buck, bolt, rear... anything! I don't know about NFs but that could maybe explain Moon's attitude? Very opinionated little things!

see post below!
I think it expains a lot, i knew she must have either a good dash of pony or some mule- but then bossy is 1/2 pony and look where he took me- he's not quite so argumentative though!!

Oh look at that, I engaged my brain and found your other post! I would say well done, but... glad you're happy with her anyway! Here's to many more successful outings for YOUR Moon!

Bee my daughter rides a 14.2 NF X something that jumped in one night mare. She has jumped clear round a few BE novice tracks and is the nicest kindest pony I know.

Good luck with yours Newfie crosses are great.
