He's just ordered some new electric fencing rope (loads of it) a new energizer as ours is getting a bit dated and some gate connectors for the top paddocks as he is altering all the fencing this weekend...

He asked me what size I was in coats and things, so I told him (he never remembers!) and has just told me he's ordered me some basic waterproof gear so I can wear it whilst biking to work if needed as I bike in all weathers. I had said yesterday that the jacket and overtrousers I usually wear (my horsey stuff) was just a little too thick and heavy...

What a nice chap! He deserved the kiss he got on his way to work this morning!

Oh, it's also being delivered express delivery tomorrow so I'll be OK if it rains from Friday.

:D

That's really sweet. And actually my idea of romantic, because he's put thought into what you really want & need. I much prefer that type of gesture to flowers & other pointless gifts.

Agree with littlelegs, like gestures like this.

he sounds great.

My hubby is similar. It was our wedding anniversary last week, we both forgot as usual. Then i turned up at the yard, and he had bought me a pallet of shavings, and joked happy anniversary. Perfect !

Cant stand flowers, such a waste of money.

Lovely and thoughtful :)

Isn't it just? :D

:D

:D

Can I swap him for my partner please?:p

No! :p

Aww! what did you have to do in order to get these things ;)

I have no idea what you mean!

I quite agree! :D

I love your OH. Can I have him gift wrapped ?

Never! :p

Please can mine come to you for training?

How much are you willing to pay? :p

That's lovely and exactly the sort if thing I find really romantic. My non horsey friends were horrified by my valentines gifts, a pink wheelbarrow and a high viz gilet from mole valley farmers, but to me they were perfect because they were exactly what I needed He does do other things like book Olympia tickets (last night yay!) and hide haribo tangtastics in the secret tangtastics place in the tack room for when I go to shows :):o:) love him!
