Oh me i have just had the best laugh ever in a long time.

me and my OH went up to check on the horses after going for something to eat with our 3 year old daughter.

My OH said come on lets get out the car and go in and see them .so we all got out and Hari my mare came over to the gate and wanted to speak but jae my/OH's cob didn't to OH pondered over to see him.

well he was half way in the field and Hari decided she wanted to go to and bounded up the field and i shouted to OH you got a friend wanting to come to well OH not terribly horsey shat him self at the speed hari was coming to him and started to run up the field shooshing at her

well i could not do anything from laughing i was doubled up.

i said to him "she was only wanting to come and see you(see hari is a very people person horse). If you had just stood and let her see you and given her a pat she would be fine."


sorry i know not exciting but i have been feeling pretty down recently and it was good to laugh
 
Brilliant! My OH would have done the same. They act all macho until a horse comes near them and then they melt... nothing better than a good horsey leveller for the male ego!!

my horse used to chase my friend as she knew she was scared of her. It was so funny, she would jump the fence to get away from her, She only had to shake the head collar and she would have been fine. She never did it to anyone else.
Hope your hubby has recovered and you binned the underwear

Reminds me of one of the mums at our yard. She is fine handling her daughters pony as she is quiet but if any of the others are waiting to be tacked up along the rail and start getting a bit skitty she is gone. Last time farrier was here all horses were lined up and to get past one of the boys she had to pass within 2 foot of his back end. She asked for him to be moved
