off work today so decided to go for hack with couple of others from the yard. was riding up one off the estates and there was two kids (not in school) well there where throwing slate at a house over the road (slightly rough area ). so we kept riding and they stopped as we went past we just as we were nearly off the road the younger on decide to lob one are way lucky it hit the land rover by the side off us but still spooked the horses. kids seam to have no respect at all thease days plus have hacked this routes for a long time and never any problems to make it worse there was an adult there just watching them ........
 
Mmmm wonder if the adult would have stood by and watched if he was a parent of one of these yobs? I hate the compensation culture in this country but if one of the brats had caused an accident I'd have gone for him big time along with the kids. Standing by like that is out of order.
 
i did give him a mouthful told him to have some respect and would be his fault if it caused an accident .he soon stopped luckly i have a very behaved horse who just jumped and carried on. i would dare off done anything like this the fact they where throwing it the house was disgustin i would of been to scared of my parents and having a red bum :S
 
Well done! More people should be brave enough to speak up when they witness stuff like this. Hope you reported it to the police too.
 
mmmmm.......I remember giving a couple of parents a mouth full when they were stood smiling at their brats lobbing huge stones at the ducks in a village stream, I was furious and made a huge scene. It would seem that all animals are fair game because after all ' they don't mean any harm'
