I have just advertised my beautiful mare on h&h. The decision has been heartbreaking and I haven't sold a horse for 10 years! Now I am wondering will I get any calls, have I priced her right, how will I be able to ensure she goes to the best possible home? But what terrifies me the most is how the hell will I cope with the heart break of her going i am welling up just thinking about it!!

Pointless post really but needed to get that off my chest!

I am selling her as I have been offered the chance of a lifetime with work
Which means I would have no time to compete or to ride during the week! My mare loves to go to a party and loves training and I think she can teach some one so much I have had the best 9 years with her and done things I could never or dreamed of!

Thats what makes it so hard, unfortunately I am at a point in my life where earning money and having a career has to come first.

a very brave and difficult decision, however you obviously have your horses best interst at heart. Im sure you have considered all other avenues. Good luck with the sale, you will get the opportunity to have horses at a later date. Good luck with your career- how very exciting for you :D
