I was happily schooling my children's 13.2 today and suddenly decided to jump a couple of cross poles, and then got off and put them up to a massive 18". It may not sound much, but it's got to be 10 years since I jumped even a twig, and this pony is hardly a jumping schoolmaster - think sideways giraffe style when going anywhere near a pole and you'll get the picture. :eek::rolleyes:

I think the sun got to me - I actually enjoyed it. :cool::D

My mare does sideways giraffe and even backwards giraffe and then spins to jump it... she concentrates more when it gets 3ft+ but, I know exactly what you mean :p

It all came as rather a shock, especially as I haven't ridden since before Christmas. I'm hacking out with a friend on Thursday so I though I had better at least get on board before then. :p

You haven't ridden since before crimbo and today you ride and jump!!! Brilliant!!! :D:D

My horse was literally scared of her shadow today :o started going sideways to avoid scary black thing on the ground:rolleyes: bless her, she's special and has spring fever!:rolleyes::rolleyes:
