SO....
this week started VERY BADLY with me being poor, stressed, and thinking that there was no way I was going to get the yard I've been after for the last two months due to nerves causing inane and endless rambling during a meeting with the landlord! I think I even started talking about earache at one point....
Then today, I had an email from someone who has been messing me around and owes me lots of money, apologising and saying they've put the money into my account, I found (and bought!) a horse who I looked after just after weaning 4 years ago who has grown into the most stunning boy and I'm VERY EXCITED, and THEN I got a phone call from the landlord saying the yard is mine!
So if anyone in Gloucestershire would like to know more about my soon-to-be-opened-super-duper-amazing-yard, please PM me!

I just scared the **** out of Roy by bouncing across the field in the dark to tell him he's going to be moving house in October!

I'm so excited and nervous I think I might be sick...

What a fab day!!! So happy for you, that sounds like a dream come true!

If you have any spare magic fairy dust can you send it my way please? I am poor and horseless :D

Thank you thank you!
Fairy dust is well and truly on its way, and I have a horse looking for someone to love him for a while - he comes with a bucket of fairy dust and a VERY uncomfortable saddle!
I'm really not sure how I managed the earache fandango... the landlord is one of those people who doesn't reply when you finish a sentence... he would ask me a question and then stand there looking at me as if he wanted more of an answer, so instead of finishing what I was saying and looking back at him like a normal person, I just carried on and on and on and on! Thank GOD the person who is currently leasing the yard was there with me, and knows me very well so was able to shut me up and start saying nice things about me. I think it's down to him really... he also managed to get the mice out of my car.

I discovered that there were mice living in my car! Not in the engine, but under the back seats!
My dog spent about a week diving around like a lunatic trying to eat them while I was driving - which would be fine if he wasn't the size of a Great Dane....
So we lured them into a false sense of security by leaving them a plate of peanut butter for two nights...and then we may have put the peanut butter on some mousey traps!

No more mice!
