I've just checked the met office app on my phone and according to them by Monday the temperature up here in sunny cumbria will have reached the dizzying heights of....wait for it......8 degrees!! Woohooo! And sunshine!!!

I am actually thrilled about this, it's about bloody time! Our field is in dire need of some sun and warmer temps and I really hope this is the beginning of the grass growing properly!

Hope it's going to be equally as nice where you all are if not warmer!

Happy happy happy :D

After being snowed in for 3 days, horses in stables, yo extra workload, I never thoughti would be wishing for rain!!! But I do.. It will wash snow away.. Sun is out here in n Wales, and it's melting..
Some parts of uk have been worse hit than us, my mum said she has never seen it this bad since 1963

Hehe I'm glad it's not just me who is genuinely excited about it!

Justabob - isn't it amazing! I can't believe how warm it is when the sun shines, bliss :)

Sun is shining in Warwickshire and according to my dad's digital weather thingy it's currently 7.6 outside! The wind is quickly drying up the trash paddocks and our last hay delivery is coming today. No rain forecast all week, woohoo!!

In 1963 it snowed on Boxing Day and stayed till March 20th with hardly a day in between above freezing - eee! You young'uns don't know yer born eh?

Saying that, I worked out on an estate in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire yesterday and it was flippin' bitter despite hanging on to chainsaw for some of it! The ground there still has 2" of snow here and there with 2" of frost underneath.

I remember that. Our outside toilet froze up and my dad had to melt it in the mornings before anyone could go
