As some of you may have seen in my previous post i have a nearly 5 month old JR pup, whos teething and taking it out on anything he can get his teeth into, including crutches of knickers! Eeeew:D

Anyway went to work this morning came back at 12 to find him and the older dog, (who doesnt chew) were free in the living room!!! Well ive now got a nice pretty hole in my leather sofa, my unopened 20 pack of cigarettes in a 1000 pieces across the whole living room. Im sure the coffee table has got one leg shorter than the other now. And a bagfull of starbursts nicely chewed but left sticky stuck to the laminate flooring!!!
But on a good note, no poohs or wee!!!! LOL

Animals hey whod have them, good job im not to precious about my stuff!!! And i still love him after all was probaly me that didnt shut the crate properly!!!!

OOOOPS!
He didn't eat any fags, did he?
You're taking this remarkably well!!!
OH now has a barricade outside his room after brother's little shitebag JRT graduated from chewing all his computer stuff to weeing and pooing all over his bed, grr!!!

Yep got a nice big lead rope clip (minus a chewable leadrop;)) for the crate now!!!
No dont think he did just shreaded them all over the living room!!!!

I couldnt believe it when i saw it, couldnt even face it so just took them straight out for a walk then up to do daughters pony and faced it when i got home and i was laughing about it by then!! Took nearly an hour to sort the mess!!! Luckliy the sofas where given to me and im hoping to get some new ones in the new year!!! The laptop was in the sofa think i wouldnt have been more upset if that had been chewed!! But luckily that wasnt touched!!!

The new way to give up smoking!!!!
We used to have goats on an old yard I was at and they loved eating cigarettes, they used to knock the bin over so they could eat the ends that had been stubb out, lived for about 17 years though and anyone that smoked on the yard learnt very quickly that they had to keep their fags with them as there was no where that they were safe (including locked feed rooms!!!)

My dog escaped the crate once (no clue how as it was still locked tight when I got home,. just minus dog - she then repeated the trick several time but never when watching nor even when we left camera rolling to watch!). She managed to rip the curtains off the wall, decorate the house with the contents of the bin, eat everything vaguely edible in the whole house, chew up the bathroom towels and then fall asleep on the human bed. Must have been the best afternoon of her life!

This happened to me about a year ago! It was christmas time and my family had come from London to see me (im north west). Id been out shopping so as i entered my house my family had turned up at the same time and came in. To my horror my boxer, JR and staffie had got into my living room, ripped my sofa, cushions to shreds, also found a bottle of tomato ketchup and spred it every where!!!! I just cried and my family had to wait in the mess while i cleaned it ( young children were there too!!!) The mess was unbelivable

Our parsons jr has just learned to let herself out of her crate by removing the bars with her teeth. First hole, I turned the crate round so that the hole faced the wall - cue - another hole. Was only left for 20 min.
At least she is past the chewing stage. Just off to buy her a basket.

Have to say, its making me a feel a whole lot better knowing im not the only person its happened too!!!:D:p I think all that fun was hard work as he was a very tired puppy last night!! Little monkey!!:)

My old dog as a pup chewed the handles off the drawers of the bureaux, (which did hold huge sentimental value) so much so it was almost impossible to open them! She did 4 handles in the space of an hour. I can laugh now, but then.... lol

Hope your pup sticks to chewing his toys and not anymore of your furniture - or fags!
