i have known said mare said since she was foaled last year and always thought of her as 'nice'. she is kept at a farm opposite me where i hire a school and i was riding there this morning and she has really filled out and her movement is fantastic!

i want her .... if only i had the money!

My kiddo's ponio is well and truly a chestnut mare (see siggie) and she's such a doll, I am passionate about her and wouldn't have her any other colour, or swap her for a gelding... can't understand all the bad press they get, I'm a devotee!

I have always been a big chestnut fan, first pony was a chestnut, but I am recently (nearly a year) converted to loving chestnut mares. Mine has not always been the easiest - more me than her as she is my first horse and I was timid which I think scared her - now though she is wonderful. She's not perfect, somedays she can be a little monkey, but she has a lovely nature. Could go on forever about how wonderful chestnut mares are.

I really dont believe the thing about chestnut mares. Im sure if you said it about people you would be accused of racism or something. If you like her is there the opportunity to buy her?
