Oh dear. The pony refused a jump today. Now for me this is a HUGE deal as he NEVER EVER EVER fefuses a jump. hes only 13.2hh but if you stuck a 1.5m jump infront of him hed have a shot at it.
Me and the other people from my yard who were watching me jump were shocked.
So i hopped of and whipped his saddle of and one of the other girls looked at his back and saddle as im a bit of a novice with this sort of thing.
When she was examining his back to see if he flinched he didnt even bat an eye lid and carried on looking at another horse.
She concluded that i should ring the saddler and get my saddle sorted ( with him being so flat backed we struggled to find a saddle that didnt shoot up his neck, its not a perfect fit but hes managed for a year and a half with it)
so the saddlers coming, more money to spend
so now it'll be lunging and bareback till the saddles sorted
