I think I'm a dunce for giving in to the constant marketing emails and ordering a rug on offer from Derby House...I've read the threads on here but the website said ithe rug was in stock yet 9 days later they are still processing my order. Argh! I'm annoyed with myself for giving into the barrage of emails. Do you think I'll get my rug anytime soon?!
 
Just seen a promo on FB saying there's loads of stuff for £20, having to sit on my hands on my lunchbreak so I don't buy anything because I'll only have myself to blame when it doesn't come!!!
 
If it helps after waiting 4 months for a fly rug I got sent a £20 voucher.
First order they cancelled as couldn't fulfil, still waiting to try and use my voucher 6 months on.................................

Im sure that sometimes they get it right, just don't look at their facebook page is all I can say!
 
meh.. you were weak...

lol - I nearly faltered a while ago especially when the emails started stressing that all items were in stock, luckily the good people on here talked me out of it!
 
I keep having to resist the temptation.

BF ordered me a pair of mountain horse boots from them last August, a month later and nothing, he chased and found they were out of stock and wouldn't have them in for a few more weeks. In the meantime, he was getting fed up at me moaning at him about my muddy feet because my boots had holes in them, so he cancelled, ordered from Ride Away and they arrived promptly.

I had bought from them before that (once online, once at Badminton), didn't have a problem before. I liked their rugs.
 
I ordered 3 items in August and after extensive communication they finally arrived last week. One of the items was damaged and I will admit my heart sank. I phoned them and they told me to email pictures, which I did. They replied apologising and saying a new one would be sent out asap and I didn't have to send in the damaged one. New one arrived the next day and original is usable so now I have 2! Delivery was a nightmare, but credit where it's due
 
I've had problems with them in the past but ordered something the other week in the sale and both items can 2 days later :) Also ordered some rugs in their offer the other day, one says awaiting stock but the others have been dispatched
 
I have complained about them in the past, but ordered a bridle from them last week as it was only £20 and my cheek pieces have mysteriously gone missing from my current one. At £20 I figured I could afford for it to go astray - but credit where credit is due, not only did I receive prompt email notification of order/ processing and dispatch - it arrived after 2 days. They have changed their delivery company to citylink (who are known to be reputable - when I worked for Dhl we used citylink for high value items (not kidding!!) ) so I hope that DH have turned a corner now and can pull themselves out of the doldrums.

I'm pretty pleased with the bridle quality too really - not too shabby at all (ESP for £20!)
 
Well it seems they must be reading this thread as I've just checked it again and it now says "order dispatched" so hopefully it might get here sometime soon. Poor horse will be a bit chilly otherwise!
 
I just had a look at the latest email they sent too... Also tempted but trying to refrain after all the bad news I hear about them these days. 5 years ago they used to be my favourite place to order such a shame x

I'm sorry if something similar has been mentioned before but I have recently had a lot of difficulty with Derby House . They haven't sent me the goods I have ordered or refunded the money that they have debited from my account. I have noticed on social media that my complaint is very common! I am wanting to raise awareness of this and create an area where people can share complaints and unite - the reason for this is to achieve strength in numbers and then deliver a large complaint to trading standards and their governing body.

Also, if you have any better ideas, I am happy to help implement them!
