Last night I went to bed and left one of my lot shut outside 
I feel so awful about it although Coco seems completely unperturbed!! 1030pm, shut all 3 out for a last wee, went for a wee myself, went to let them back in and was sure I counted 3. About an hour later was woken by a single bark, OH helpfully said "that sounds like a dog in the garden". Thinking maybe a stray had appeared I looked out of the window and there she was, sat in the middle of the lawn, looking up at the bedroom window and woofing at me. Fortunately it wasn't particularly cold and the garden is safe but boy, do I feel mean! Still she got her revenge, the minute I opened the door for her she shot upstairs and nicked my side of the bed.
