OH wants to ride tomorrow.........

When I got Ellie in December OH told me not to expect him to have anything to do with her.

Since then he has put up fences, chopped down bushes and trees and comes down to the field with me just to spend time with the two of them.

This afternoon he asked me if he could ride tomorrow

So, tomorrow evening we will get Ellie and Chad tacked up and go off for a ride together. I don't know whether I am looking forward to it or dreading it

oh dear... a slippery slope Im afraid. One day they're asking if they can ride and doing rising trot like something off a carry on film next they're telling YOU what you should be doing! My OH said it would be fun to go on a hack with me......years later we own a horse together.
Still, he's very good at mucking out whilst I sneak off for a ride on another livery's horse without telling him

Have a fun time together...could be the start of something new!
