I thought it amazing too.

Normally if find some horses piaffe and pasasge sort of, stilted. Hers just flows beautifully.

She's so relaxed, even when the crowd cheer at the end.

I LOVE that mare, shes just simply amazing! Definitely my fav dressage horse. Gawd that took my breath away...........and bought a few tears to my eyes

That mare is beautiful and one of the real delights to watch perform. She has an amazing presence when she's in the arena and that shows through particularly in her piaffe and passage work. If theres any horse i could have in the world (or even sit on tbh) it would be her.

Andreas is a fabulous rider and deserves all the recent credit he's been getting

The only slightly amusing (im not sure if thats even the right word - perhaps ironic?) thing i find is that if she flicks her tail almost constantly. At lower levels, people would be more inclined to be critical of that and say its a sign of stress or tension (and ive seen it crop up on test sheets also).

I thought that too about her tail, but it is almost and extension of her movement? Almost as if it is part of her back movement, rather than tension?

No i agree, i think its just *her*. I think shes a very expressive lady but it just makes me giggle to myself slightly that for most of us mere mortals, if our horses did that, people would assume that it was a tension issue.

yes judges often mark down for that.. with her it's her work.. her flow... her enjoyment... skipping....

I read all the reports about this special mare but this is the first time I have actually seen her work........ It did truly bring a tear to my eye!!
