8 weeks ago today my horse had his kissing spine surgery to remove two DS.......in another 5 weeks we start lunging......and in 9 weeks we start riding!!!!!!!!!!

I cant believe how his back is looking I will have to take some pics it is almost totally flat, he has been the model pacient and is behaving really well...bar stealing bales of hay!! To be honest think I have picked the best couple of months not to ride!!

Good luck with his continuing recovery and yup, you've good a seriously good excuse as to why you are not freezing your bits off trying to get some sensible ridden work done
