got a new little chap coming to join me next weekend
Friend of mine has a 2yr coloured thing who we don't think had a very good start, she bought him last year from up in Glos, he turned up having just been gelded dripping blood from his op with 2 others in the same condition
turned out to have false passport too. Anyway i was up cooing over her foal last week and spotted the little coloured chap and asked what was happening with him and she said not a lot, she can't catch him so he's been left to his own devices for the last 6 months really, so i said let me loan him and have a play (as you do lol) and she said yep.
Then of course i had to 'ask' hubby who did his usual grumbling and then gave in
did have to laugh though when i mentioned it to my 12 yr old son and he said 'for god sake woman how many do you need' 
(just like his father)
so when i come back from my trip to the new forest we'll be taking the cattle trailer up and herding the little chap in as gently as we can to move him down to ours, got to b the cattle trailer as friends box has no top doors and this little chap has already jumped out of a stable through the window
Will get some pics when he arrives and i'm sure there will be lots of updates on our progress..... or lack of
