....went rather pear shaped!
He had an error of course in the dressage (he was too busy concentrating on his sitting trot to keep Ron in check, and missed the turn!)
He then had 2 down SJ, but in all fairness that was Ron being a bit silly as he got the approaches and the canter right!
He then fell at fence 8 on the XC - he said that Ron hadn't been locking on to his fences and had been sticky/wobbly into them. He had a run out at an open ditch and pallisade at fence 4, but got it second time. Ron is not usually a stopper or a runner-out, and he had been in a right funny mood all day. 1) he had a wee in public - he normally will only wee in his stable if you leave, and will stop mid stream if you come back!
2) he normally stands like a donkey, but was paddling about and digging holes next to the trailer
3) he actually almost went in an outline for the dressage!
