My son's pony is so funny. I was making a fuss of our youngster and could feel eyes boring into my back. She pretended she wasn't doing anything but ran off head swinging. Seconds later she was back pawing the ground-which she knows is bad manners. I told her I needed to finish the poo picking so she whickered at me. (Learnt this trick from my old boy who runs across the field demanding attention by whickering).

She loves having between her udders scratched and literally squats whilst you're doing it. There's no peace whilst poo picking. You get followed round the field. I've told her off for just shoving her arse at me so she now presents her nose for a kiss first!?

The old git lumbered over to the fence so yep, you guessed it, she spied me and came charging across the field.

I ran off from her after telling her that was it. So she squealed, swung her head and legged it to wait for me further up.

She really is a character, love her to pieces. She'll be hard to replace as nearly outgrown.
