So I have a slightly older, underwight horse now after the long winter.
Hes now out on grass full time, its not great grass so weight isnt going on as quickly as normal.
So Im going starting him on Baileys top line condition nuts from tomorrow but I was also thinking might add some oil into the feed just to give him that extra boost he needs.
Now iv never fed oil to him before so have no idea what to use, I dont have bucketloads of money to spend so would like something cheap but also does the job.
Would standard vegetable oil be any good?
IV heard linseed oil is good but Iv no idea where I might this up or the cost.
Any help is appreciated!
