Currently using a linseed/garlic/parsely oil but i am told linseed is very fattening!

Thanks!

All the oils will have approximately the same number of calories - so from the point of view of being fattening/non-fattening it doesn't make any difference which one you use!

I use dengie alpha with oil to keep my horses weight on but when I was looking at the dengie site today it is used for skin and coat maintenance as well.

I have started to use the corn oil this yr(tesco's own,89p a litre)Great stuff,h,s coat is fab at the mo(other than the usual malting malarchy, lol),and it certainly hasnt piled on the pounds!!Just a good splosh a day should do it,will take good few weeks to see any difference!!

My ponio is on a diet which has all been planned out by a nutritionist and he is losing a decent amount of weight. i was told to feed him 2 tbsps cod liver oil a day to help speed up his metabolism. Seems to be working.

linseed oil - you are only meant too feed small quantities of linseed oil (1/2 table spoon per 100kg 3-4 times per week only)

It is good for maintaining flexibility and mobility as it is high in omega 3 (most are high in omega 6 not 3). Also promotes healthy coat, skin, bone and hoof. It also provides nutritional support for optimum digestion and is non-heating.

as much as feed companies would like us to believe, scientifically oil is useless as a mobility protecter, as oil can not be absorbed into the joints.
